Kia Ora,
I'm very excited to be teaching Year 4/5 in Harakeke 1.
This year I am also returning to university to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching - Complex Educational Needs.
I grew up in the Franklin area and live locally in Tuakau with my Partner and Cat. In my spare time, you will find me exploring the outdoors, paddle boarding, playing sports, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
I thoroughly enjoy working with our Pokeno community and look forward to learning more about our Whaanau and Tamariki.

Talofa lava,
My name is Rochelle Faleafaga (Miss Fale) and I am very excited to be a part of the Kea Whanau this year, teaching Year 4/5 in Harakeke 1. I have been working at Pokeno school for three years, having taught New Entrant/ Year 1, Year 3, Year 4 and prior to this as an ECE teacher in Pukekohe.
I live in Onewhero on a farm and have five gorgeous children. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, coaching Netball and Volleyball and road trips.
I am passionate about teaching and creating a classroom environment that is welcoming, vibrant, fun and motivating for our learners to grow and develop in. Developing positive reciprocal relationships with parents and whanau is incredibly important to me, and I look forward to meeting you all throughout the year.

I have been teaching in the Franklin area for over 25 years, and have also spent 1 year teaching at an international school in China. 2024 be my 4th year at Pokeno School. I love football, both as a fan of Liverpool and Wellington Phoenix and as a player for Pukekohe AFC, where I have played for 30+ years. I also love the Warriors, bike riding, and general exercise and sports. Aside from sports, I also love Lego! My wife is also a teacher, and I have 2 children, Aiden (24) and Brooke (22). I enjoy being part of the growing Pokeno school and community.
